B and I are at Marshall Sylver’s (and his fiancé Erica’s) 17,000 sf Palace in Las Vegas!  What an experience!  It is gorgeous here!  We are living a life in luxury as he shares his home, his lifestyle, and how I can live that life too!  It is totally awesome!  We are travelling by limo everywhere, have our own personal chef, are dining at the finest restaurants in Las Vegas, and brainstorming with our Mastermind Group on how we are all going to create the successes in our lives that we deserve!!!

What is a mastermind group you may ask?  Well, it’s a group of people that form an alliance and support and work together using each person’s talents to best help each member of the group obtain prosperity, happiness, success…you name it!  I am fortunate enough to have an amazing group of people in this alliance.  (I am in a few mastermind groups…each group brings different things to my successes.)  We are from all over the US, and within our mastermind we have smaller groups…pairs…that we call MAP.  (My Accountability Partner)  So even though we work as one larger group creating ideas and suggestions so that each person can excel to the next level in their life, we also have our MAP for more specific planning.

When you are ready to form an alliance that will be your ultimate mastermind group to everything you want in life, let B and I know!  We are ready for you!!!

**Note on December 11^th:  An example of a MAP’s duties: one of the things I told my MAP is that I want to make sure to read 20 minutes of personal development books per day.  (Or a total of 140 minutes per week.)  So she checks in with me (she lives in California) to make sure that I am doing what I said I would put forth to do.  It’s great because I don’t want to tell her I didn’t do what I said I would do, so I definitely make sure to get my reading in every day!  (Or at least the equivalent of the 140 minutes per week.)

Currently I’m reading Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich.  A MUST read for anyone who wants nothing but the best in their life!!!  There is a lot of incredible information in this book.  He does talk a lot about the importance of a mastermind group and your involvement in one.  He says “The ‘Master Mind’ may be defined as: ‘coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.’  No individual may have great power without availing him or herself of the Master Mind.”

Wow what an amazingly beautiful place The Grand Canyon is!  B and I had such a wonderful day!

To expand a little from my last entry, I wanted to discuss the theory “what you focus on expands”, which is an awesome term Marshall Sylver uses in his life changing Turning Point seminar.  Putting stuff on paper is super important because it will help you focus on what you want.  From there you can work from your end result to how to get it!

With that in mind, I’d love for you to do a little activity to help you start focusing on what you want in life.  Take out a piece of paper and write down once place you want to visit next year.  You can write down more should you choose too…just make sure to put down one place that you want to visit really badly.  Okay, did you write it down?  If not, do it now before reading on…

Now that you have this place written down, let’s figure out how YOU will be there next year!  Here’s an example of what B and I did…and the results are incredible because we focused on what we wanted and got it!

1. We decided we would go on a cruise in 2008 to somewhere in the Caribbean.
2. Wrote it down on our list of things to do in 2008.
3. Then we expanded and wrote down where in the Caribbean we would want to cruise to. (We chose The Bahamas, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, or Aruba.)
4. Then we decided when – we chose fall 2008 to give us some time to work on our internet marketing and web development company so that it would function and grow without us around.
5. A few months into the year, I picked possible cruises I’d want to go on, and put some pictures of beaches, boats, hammocks, and sunsets on my dream board.
6. Then we heard our friends were going on a cruise a few months later. What a coincidence! We looked into it and the cruise was full.
7. I did see that a few weeks later the cruise was ¼ of the price though…so I said “Let’s go!” Destination…wouldn’t you know it…The Bahamas!!!
8. Got our passports two weeks later…cruised a week after that.
9. Relaxed in paradise…hammocks, beaches, beautiful sunsets, and of course…one big boat.

So you can now do it too!  In fact, let us know when and where you want to go so we can go with you!  We love traveling and seeing new places, and perhaps your place to visit in 2009 is on our list too…

Brandon and I are on our first official road trip in about three years!  The last time we road tripped was about 4 years ago…went up to CT for the summer and drove so we’d have our car.  With that being the…hmmm I believe it was 19^th time we had driven back and forth from CT since we had met, we were quite sick of driving and decided that from that point on we would only fly…

Well, it is time to get “on the road again”!  This trip is taking us across the country in another direction…heading West!  How exciting!  We are driving from Florida to the Grand Canyon for a pit stop, and then heading on to Las Vegas to spend 3 days at Marshall Sylver’s 17,000 sf Palace at his Billionaire Mastermind Summit.  It will be exciting.

Anyway, we are roaring and ready to go!  I just wanted to give you guys some pointers on road trips, and how you can make them the highest and best use of your time.  While we’re away, we will be working away from home.  While some may say they don’t have that “luxury” because they work a 9-5, those very people need to change their subconscious thinking…reprogram themselves to know that everything is possible and achievable.  We are fortunate enough to already have the right mindset.  Not only will this be the best road trip of our life, we also set ourselves up with a company that runs when we are not home, as well as an alliance that we will be focusing on while on the road.  Together, our alliance creates prosperity…and wouldn’t you agree that you would be happier with some prosperity in your life?

So, this is what we’re doing…inspiring others.  Blogging For Prosperity I’m calling it.  I selfishly want nothing more than for you to read my blog and be inspired to do more for your life, create more prosperity, and live the way you want to.  So B and I will show you how we live our life in our own terms.  We are going to take you across America with us and let you in on our life so you can see how awesome it is to do what you want, when you want, and how you want.

Our first major stop is The Grand Canyon in Arizona.  Man how I’ve wanted to see The Grand Canyon for so many years now!  And just recently, B and I were talking about how we would get there soon enough.  Lucky me!  What I focus on expands…because this road trip is enabling me to get there faster than I expected!  I’m super excited!  So anyway, we’ll be checking in with you all on BrandonAndSam.com and filling you in on this amazing experience!  Oh how I love my life!  Talk to you all soon!
